We have no concept of it; nobility's only a loosely applied term -- those who can trace their lineage back to founding members of our nation, those who've done great heroic deeds, and those who have effectively greased enough palms have their lines declared noble by petitioning, and petitions can have those rights stripped. But outside of the halls of government, it means little, and most forget we serve at the leisure of our peers, who should be looking out for the common man.

So no, I cannot say I understand how succession works in foreign lands.
